Diagnostic Imaging

Diagnostic Imaging encompasses the disciplines of radiography, ultrasonography and three dimensional imaging (computerized tomography, or CT, and magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI). Images acquired using these technologies are used to help differentiate normal from abnormal anatomy, and to help determine the cause of disease, a required course of treatment, or the results of treatment. Digital radiography, ultrasonography, and computerized tomography are offered at Western Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre. We also offer magnetic resonance imaging through an off-site imaging centre.

Surgical Suites

Our surgical facility is equipped with five full surgical suites, each integrated with our diagnostic imaging technologies, and capable of supporting the efforts of our surgeons and specialists, regardless of the complexity of the procedure. Patients then receive the finest post-operative care, where they are fully attended 24/7 until they are ready to go home.

Patient Monitoring

With a veterinarian and technical staff on duty in the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, your pets will be the focus of attention all day and all night long.

Our professionals are supported by a full range of high-tech monitoring systems, so that any change in the status of a patient is addressed immediately.
